Right to Dispute

If a consumers dispute the completeness or accuracy of the information in their consumer files, they have the right to submit a dispute directly to the source of the information.  Neighborli members can have their customers contact Neighborli on their behalf to initiate a re-investigation.  

Re-investigations are usually completed within 30 days.

  • If the customer provides additional information or documentation relevant to the dispute while the re-investigation is pending, the time frame may be extended by up to 15 days to give the source sufficient time for review.  
  • Once completed, Neighborli will notify the customer of the results.

Customers must be 18 years of age or older to communicate with Neighborli. Neighborli may access, store and use  identifying information to the extent permitted by law.
